Rules/Guidelines for joining //Rogue Squadron

As with the focus of our clan, we expect our members to be friendly and mature people. Competition is part of our passtime/hobby/sport, but we also have a much lighter side as well. If you are here for competition and competition only, you may be in the wrong place.

Our application process/Rules may look intimidating at first, however keep in mind as you read this that everything is written based around three simple things (Respect, Dedication, Maturity). We do not wish to write up an entire list of do's and don'ts . We rely on our members to use comon sense!

Specific guidelines for applicants into the clan:

- Must be able to participate in atleast one of our official clan games (Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2)

- Must have Ventrilo installed and a working/tolerable microphone.

- Must be at least 18 years of age. If you are NOT 18 or Older please do not apply as we will not look at your application. This rule is not here to discriminate unfairly, it is of our observation that members and prospective members below this age tend to lack the maturity that we deem necissary from members.

- Must be registered on our site forums.

- Must provide a roster picture (Granted that you become a full //RS member)

- Our policy towards non-official paid MMOs such as Everquest and World of Warcraft is the following: We don't mind if you play them, as long as you don't detract from other clan activities in doing so. If we notice you've been playing an MMO and dont show up for several weeks without telling us whats up, we will just assume you are no longer active within our clan and remove you from our roster.

Our Official Rules:

- Absolutely no racism at anytime

- No abusive trash talking to other members or the general Public (Forums, Vent, Servers, etc)

- No hacking

- No bullshit

- You must have fun, There are thousands of ways to have fun while not breaking these simple rules!

If you violate any of these rules. You may be removed from the clan permanently. This includes people PRETENDING to be 18+.

Application process for prospective members of //RS clan:

1) Ensure that you have read and agree with the above guidelines and rules for applicants.

2) Post your application! (see below for format) A team leader Will look over your application and reply within a period of around 24-48 hours.

3) Join in with the community and be apart of our meeting/events. Meetings are Every Monday at 8:30 Central Standard time in the main lobby on Ventrilo. Attendance at meetings is no longer mandatory, but is highly recommended. Meetings give us a chance to get everyone together and discuss current clan events. Official meetings are followed by //RS Game Nights, which always attract lots of //RS Members.

4) Jump on Ventrilo and play with our members. Ventrilo is a very important tool to us at //RS clan and we want to be able to hear you. Applicants will not be considered for membership unless they have talked with at least a few of our members on Ventrilo. Be active on the FORUMS and add members to your XFIRE/SteamID list. (Everyone ussually displays their XFIREs and SteamIDs as their comment on Monday night meetings.)

5) Prospective members will generally not be evaluated in game on a skill basis. Playing with us during the recruiting process only helps us to get to know you better and move things along quicker.

6) Do not put on the recruitment tag (//RS-r) until instructed to do so by a Team Leader/Admin.

7) Wait. And by wait, we mean keep playing and exposing yourself to our members. Our members and recruiters will be evaluating you for your place within the clan based on what kind of person you are. The more you are available after you apply the more quickly you are likely to be accepted. The recruiting process can take anywhere from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 14 days. If a prospective member is not deemed clan material or has not been present enough over the course of the 14 days, recruitment will be canceled.

8) Final step: A Team Leader will inform you of your acceptance or refusal of admittance into the clan.
