new HDD

i got a new HDD cause i was running out of space on the one i had left after my blow up.

the new HDD will show up in device manager and the system bios as, working properly. BUT when i go into "Computer" and have my list of drives, it isnt listed at all. my SATA ports are turned on.

any ideas on how to fix this would be great

i run Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
the HDD is a Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB 7200RPM, model # WD32000AAKS

EDIT: i have tried the WD website and they do not offer driver updates or such, just specs.

I know how to do this in XP, but not vista. Did you FDISK it yet? If it isn't formatted, Windows will ignore it ( XP will anyway )

maybe in a month or so. i start my "new" job on the 1st of march. i m at the same place but i got a day shift job and ill be home nights after that.
